ZQRX is a regenerative agriculture index that helps farmers work with nature to continuously improve human, animal and environmental outcomes.

ZQ is the world's leading ethical wool - setting high standards for fibre quality, animal welfare as well as environment and social responsibility since 2006. RX is shorthand for the Regenerative Index. We like to think of it as a measure beyond sustainability, where the aim is continuous improvement - not a minimum standard. RX is never ‘done’, and many of the positive RX outcomes will be intergenerational.

Our bold goal is to eliminate the effects of critical global issues such as climate change and the loss of biodiversity through the use of regenerative practices.
Our wool types
While our heritage is rooted in merino wool, our expertise has expanded to sourcing and supplying the full range of wool types:

Merino Wool
We source and supply superfine merino wool (less than 19 micron) as well as merino wool (20-24 micron). The fine fibres bend easily, making them incredibly soft and perfect for next to skin applications

Mid Micron Wool
We also source and supply fine crossbred wool (25-28 micron) and medium crossbred wool (29-32 micron). While still soft these fibres have enhanced durability making them perfect for apparel and home furnishings.

Strong Wool
We source and supply strong wool (greater than 33 micron). Resilient and durable, "strong wool" is well-suited for a variety of applications, from carpets to technical textiles.
