The Role: 

This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging superstar to join our team, reporting to the Southern Regional Manager and based in our Cromwell office, this role offers an opportunity to be exposed to various disciplines across the ZQ On-Farm team on a 12-month cadetship. 

​

This role offers a lot of task variety, supporting our Area Managers with procuring wool and developing grower relationships. You will have the opportunity to spend time in our Christchurch office, engaging with other teams to get an understanding of wool administration, commercial, ZQRX and our brands.

 

What skills, experiences and attitudes are needed: 

You will have either an Agricultural Science or an Agricultural Commerce degree, or similar, be digitally savvy and have a passion for the industry. To have the ‘X factor’ you will have a farming or agricultural background with experience working on farm. 

​

An inquisitive nature, eagerness to learn and ability to work with ambiguity coupled with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills will be your strengths. 

​

Key to your success in this role will be an exceptional ability to build and develop relationships with diverse groups of people, plus empathy with growers (farmers). 

​

We are looking for someone who is passionate in this field, a self-starter who enjoys variety within their work. 

​

You will thrive in a busy and dynamic environment that allows you to be part of a team, but also work independently. 

​

As this role will see you getting out on farms, a current drivers license is essential.
