In 2009 NZM's CEO John Brakenridge met Professor Baba Shiv, of Stanford University and emotional branding fame. A partnership of mutual respect was born and when Professor Shiv heard the story of New Zealand merino growers changing the destiny of their industry he wanted to share it with his MBA students. The NZM Stanford on-line case study was born; the first of it's kind.
